EBMX X9000 V3 Controller for Sur-Ron Ultra Bee

Important: the harness in this kit is not the one in the photo — it is matched to the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee.

The EBMX X9000 V3 replaces the stock controller in the Ultra Bee. The Ultra Bee leaves the factory more powerful than the Light Bee, but it is still limited in software — the X9000 V3 takes that limit off and gives you headroom to 50 kW plus full control over throttle response and regen braking.

Before you buy — what to know

The Ultra Bee has a stronger base than the Light Bee, but at higher settings you still have to look at the whole bike:

• The battery has to give up the current the controller asks for — it, not the controller, is usually the limit
• The suspension — once the speed genuinely goes up, the stock fork stops making sense; for the Ultra Bee we have the Rfloxa Ultra 43 fork and the RAF55RV shock
• Brakes and tyres — the most commonly skipped part of a power increase
