16-inch offroad wheel built to order — wider and stiffer than the stock item, on a straight-pull hub, laced to your configuration and your colours.

What is in the set

• 16" wheel on a straight-pull hub
• Rim lock
• Rim tape

The rim lock is not an extra — at low pressure and high torque the tyre can rotate against the rim and tear the valve off.

Why a wider wheel matters

Stock wheels are narrow — a sensible decision at factory power, and no longer a sensible one once you raise it. A wider rim lets you fit a full-size, aggressive motocross tyre, increases the contact patch and lets you run lower pressures without the tyre unseating from the bead.

The straight-pull hub

On a conventional hub the spoke is bent into an elbow at the head — and that elbow is the weakest point of the whole wheel. On a straight-pull hub the spoke runs in straight. The result:

• a noticeably stiffer wheel
• better transfer of torque to the ground
• higher resistance to impacts and twisting
• less chance of knocking the wheel out of true when riding hard

On an e-moto this matters more than on a petrol bike — the electric motor delivers full torque from zero, so the wheel takes the hit in a fraction of a second.

Build time — and why it takes this long

Standard 35–45 days or Express 25–35 days (for a surcharge, chosen at checkout).

We put every wheel together individually — bike model, size, tyre type and colour are all chosen for the specific order. The alternative would be keeping finished wheels on the shelf that, half the time, do not fit perfectly. Need it by a particular date? Message us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.

In a hurry? We have a 16" wheel in stock — with an offset that lets you fit a 16/90/100 tyre without trimming the swingarm block.
