Who it is for
For someone who wants a clearly livelier bike but is not building a race machine. The typical scenario: you ride in the woods and across fields, the stock power has started to bore you on the climbs, and you are not planning to swap the motor.
Before you buy — what you need to know
-
The battery is the real power limit, not the controller. The stock Light Bee cells will not deliver the current the highest settings need. Start at a lower power level and raise it as you uprate the rest of the bike.
-
Drive. At stronger settings the stock belt starts to skip — the answer is the Warp Drive chain kit.
-
Wheelie Control needs a Torp display: Torp Mini or Torp Full Color. The feature is delivered as a software update — check availability in the current version of the Torp app.
Fitting and setup
- Quick plug & play fitting, no changes to the wiring
- Set up through the Torp mobile app
- Ready-made profiles for the Sur-Ron Light Bee and Segway X260
