Torp TC1000 2.x Controller for Sur-Ron Light Bee

The Torp TC1000 2.X is a controller that grows with your bike. Plug & play like the TC500, but with a ceiling reaching 50 kW — you buy it once and you are not replacing it at the next tuning step.

How much power — depends on the motor

• Stock motor: approx. 19 kW
• With the Torp TM25: up to 31 kW
• With the Torp TM40 Pro: up to 50 kW

Those three numbers are the whole logic of this controller. The price difference against the TC500 2.X is smaller than what you lose reselling a used TC500 a year from now.

Wheelie Control

The controller has built-in hardware support for Wheelie Control — stabilising the bike on one wheel for a smoother, more predictable wheelie. The feature needs a Torp Mini or Torp Full Color display and is delivered as a software update — check availability in the current version of the Torp app.

Before you buy — what you need to know

• The controller on its own will not turn a Light Bee into a 50 kW machine. 50 kW is the ceiling of the platform with a TM40 Pro motor and the right battery, not a number you will see on day one.
• The battery has to be able to deliver the current the controller asks for — it is usually the battery that is the real limit.
• Uprate the drive and the brakes along with the power, not after the fact. At higher settings the stock belt skips — see the Warp Drive.
