Required for Launch Assist and Lift Assist

The Torp display is a requirement for these functions:

• Launch Assist — launch control
• Lift Assist — advanced front wheel lift (wheelie) control

These functions are delivered by a software update for Torp 2.X series controllers — check availability in the current version of the Torp app.

Mini or Full Color?

The Mini is the compact version — all the key data and access to the assist functions, at a lower price and taking up less room on the handlebar. If you want a large colour screen and a separate button for switching ride modes, go for the Torp Full Color.

Who needs one

Two reasons. The practical one: out on the trail you have no way of looking at your phone, and battery voltage is the one piece of information that tells you whether you'll make it back under your own power. The second: without the display you can't switch on the launch and wheelie assist functions you already paid for in the controller.
