EBMX Chain Guide for Sur-Ron and E-Ride

The rubber EBMX chain guide guides and cushions the chain as it works along the swingarm. A small part that genuinely extends the life of the whole drive.

What it gives you

• Quieter running — it damps the chain slapping against the swingarm, which you hear clearly on an e-moto because there is no combustion engine noise
• Less chain wear — the chain runs on one axis instead of knocking about sideways
• Protection for the swingarm and frame — without a guide the chain cuts into the paint and the aluminium, and that damage is irreversible
• Better drive reliability with stronger controllers and more torque

Why this is not a minor detail

The swingarm is one of the more expensive parts on the whole bike. Cuts from the chain are irreversible — you cannot weld them up or fill them without losing strength. The chain guide is pure prevention here, at a fraction of the price of a swingarm.
