Warp 9 Stem Lock Black for Sur-Ron and Talaria

The Warp 9 stem lock in black — a stem lock for forks that already have a mudguard mount on the lower triple clamps. It solves one specific problem: headset bearings working loose.

Where play in the headset comes from

If after a few rides you feel a click under braking and the headset bearings keep working loose, the likely cause is the factory star nut, which creeps up the steerer tube. Tightening it does nothing, because the problem is in what it pulls against.

This kit includes a threaded rod running the full length of the steerer tube, tying the lower and upper triple clamps together and clamping them to each other. The bearing preload stops shifting.

Intended for forks that have a mudguard mount on the lower triple clamps. That lets the lower part of the stem lock be smaller, leaving plenty of room for any mudguard.

Before you buy — important

This kit provides no way of mounting a mudguard. If your fork does not have its own mudguard mount on the clamps, you need a different model — message us and we will tell you which one.

Fitting

Tools needed: a 3/8" spanner for the lower nut and a torx key for the upper bolt.
