Rfloxa TK 43 Fork for Talaria Komodo

The Rfloxa TK 43 is a fork designed for the Talaria Komodo. 250 mm of travel, 850 mm centre distance, high- and low-speed damping, dual preload and a DLC coating. The same class of build as the Ultra 43 for the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee, only with the geometry and mounts for the Komodo.

What it changes

• 250 mm of travel — more distance to absorb a hit. Less bottoming out on landings.
• High- and low-speed damping separately — you set up sharp edges and rocks independently of braking and weight transfer in a corner. This isn't one dial on a soft-or-hard basis.
• Dual preload — you set the starting point more precisely than with a single preload.
• DLC coating on the stanchions — less stiction at the start of the travel and less chance of a scratch, which kills a seal.
• CNC-machined clamps — a stiffer connection between the stanchions and the head tube, so the front twists less under load.

In the box — and that's the difference

The TK 43 arrives complete: fork with clamps, springs in the rate you select, front axle, bushings, front mudguard and brake-caliper spacers. You don't separately buy the small parts you can't fit the front end without anyway.

Important before you buy

• Headset bearings — ask before you order. What's in the set on that point changes between batches. Message us with your Komodo's year and we'll confirm it for the current delivery.
• 850 mm centre distance. Once it's fitted, check mudguard clearance and brake-line routing.
• Lead time: 12 working days. The fork is built to order, not pulled off a shelf.

Picking the spring for your weight

This is the most important decision in this purchase — no amount of adjustment fixes a badly chosen spring.

• 24 lbs: 65–85 kg
• 27 lbs: 75–105 kg
• 30 lbs: 95–135 kg

The weight given is the rider's weight in full gear — helmet, armour and boots. On the line between two ranges, riding style decides: jumping and riding fast in open terrain — the stiffer spring; technical riding at low speed — the softer one. If you're unsure, message us before ordering.
