Warp 9 Rear Shock Cover — 4 mm Neoprene

The Warp 9 rear shock cover protects the shaft from mud, stones and sand. A small part that decides whether your shock survives a season off-road.

Why this isn't a gimmick

A shock shaft is polished to hundredths of a millimetre. One grain of sand dragged under the seal puts a scratch in it, the scratch means an oil leak, and the leak means a rebuild or a new shock. The cover costs a fraction of the shock it protects.

Construction

• 4 mm neoprene — resistant to abrasion and impacts
• Full-length hook-and-loop fastening — a secure fit, nothing slips
• Fits without removing the shock — on in a few minutes, no tools

When to fit it

Straight after you buy the bike, and at the latest before your first season in the mud. The cover won't repair a shaft that is already scratched — it only works as prevention.
