Genuine Sur-Ron Grips with Throttle Tube for Light Bee X and Ultra Bee

What you get

• A pair of grips — left (fixed) and right (on the throttle tube)
• Throttle tube included — the right grip is vulcanised to the tube, so you replace the whole assembly in one go
• Protective flanges for the hand and closed ends

Why genuine

Grips are a wear item — the compound hardens, the pattern wears smooth and in the wet your glove starts sliding on the bar. The factory Sur-Ron set has the right diameter and length for the stock levers and switchgear, so there is nothing to trim or shift along. The throttle tube has the original cam profile, which means exactly the same throttle feel you are used to.

Build

• Soft rubber compound with a dense diamond pattern and hexagonal pads under the palm
• Good grip in mud and rain, without passing through excessive vibration
• Black, with no third-party branding

Fitting

The easiest way to remove the old left grip is to slit it lengthways; the right one comes off together with the throttle tube. Degrease the bar and the tube before fitting — glue the grips on with grip cement or hairspray and let them dry before you ride.
