Funn
Funn RSX Direct Mount in black — a direct mount stem that bolts straight onto the stock triple clamp of a Sur-Ron, Talaria or E-Ride, replacing the factory bar clamps. Full CNC from aerospace-grade AL6061, with adjustable reach and two rise options.
The factory bar clamps on an e-moto already sit on the upper crown of the fork — and that is exactly what the RSX replaces. The gain is not a change of mounting system but what you get in return: 45/50 mm of reach adjustment, a choice of 20 or 30 mm rise, and a far wider, stiffer clamp that keeps the bar put after hard landings. On top of that, you set the bar position to suit you instead of riding what the factory chose.
On a downhill bike the RSX replaces a conventional steerer-clamp stem — there you also gain a lower front end, because the steerer clamp and the spacers disappear.
Worth knowing, because it catches people out: on the RSX, rise is measured from the centre of the bar down to the direct mount interface — it is not bar rise. 20 mm gives a lower, more aggressive front end; 30 mm lifts the bar and is more comfortable over long stretches standing up.
Measure the diameter at the thickest central section of the bar, where the clamp sits. 31.8 and 35 mm are not interchangeable.
Plug & play with stock e-moto forks — their upper crowns carry direct mount holes at 30 mm spacing, the same standard as Boxxer and Fox 40.
What decides fitment is the crown, not the badge: if your triple clamp has the direct mount holes, the stem goes on. Running an aftermarket fork or a converted front end? Send us a photo of the crown and we will confirm before you order.
Tighten the bolts evenly, in a cross pattern, with a torque wrench — on aluminium clamps, guessing the torque ends in a stripped thread or a crushed bar. Check the torque again after the first ride.
